The location was very central, very close to Kumamoto castle and Kumamoto Prefectural Museum of Art Chibajo Branch and Next door to the palace and public transport. We had a great-sized room with the castle view.

The staff was very friendly and always willing to help. They even gave us complementary toiletries and a shower/bath mitt. The breakfast was traditional and we love it! The hotel is centrally located, so we were able to walk to the shops, shrines, and museums.
The hotel is quite far from the train station, so getting there the first time was a bit difficult. However, we found out that the hotel is very close to all the places that we wanted to visit, like the castle.
